Baby Boy Buffington!!!

The love of a Mother for her child is simply Priceless. One of my favorite sessions is that of new parents with their small children...the love, the uncanny tenderness and adoration is simply moving.

Yesterday was such a Beautiful day at the beach with this incredible Mother/Son Duo. Baby Jackson is just shy of his 6 month "half-birthday" and is simply adorable. He is a  very content little bundle, snug in momma's arms. His "serious face" will simply melt you :) Enjoy these first few sneak peeks...

Casting Call!!! Mom's-to-be!

A Woman's body is an amazing thing, and I absolutely adore the opportunity to capture this fleeting and very special time of Pregnancy. The ability to help mom-to-be to see herself as beautiful, during a time when she really may not feel as beautiful, is so incredibly rewarding.

I am looking for three women, who are in their third trimester of pregnancy, to photograph. As this is a casting call, there are fabulous rewards and perks for those of you who are selected.

Here are the details:

In exchange for complete creative control, your session fee is waved! Should you choose to order prints from your session you are only required to purchase a $100 minimum print order. In addition you will receive 25% off all additional prints. You'll also receive a complimentary 11x14 print. **

Signed model release is required.

March Inspiration: Laughter!!!

Happy March 1st! Are we really three months into the new year already? What is happening with time?

Well, on that note, I chose to kick off March's Inspirational theme with the subject: Laughter!!! What greater way to slow down, take a moment, make it last, appreciate life and all that it has in store for each of us, then the gift of Laughter.


To get those wheels a turnin' for this months submissions, I chose to share the below photo with you. This photo was taken when Gabby, our youngest, was 10 months old. This night in particular is so ingrained in my mind as we had every one of our kids home with us, we stayed up way past bedtimes, carving pumpkins and just simply filling our home with Laughter! Gabby had this quirky new habit that she had just developed that every time she saw the red light on the camera she would grin from ear to ear. I look at this sweet little face and think 'what a reminder of how incredible life is.' She beams and radiates such love and happiness. This photo and all of our children home with us that night, was truly love and happiness and laughter at its best!
